After all those what-would-it-take-to-get-you-to-become-a-subscriber surveys, it actually looks like Linden is going to offer some sort of an incentive for residents to upgrade from basic accounts - a free house on a 512m parcel, no less. The new policy, which is about to go into beta, imposes quite a number of restrictions on your use of the land (like not being able to change the house); even so, a free house is not to be scoffed at.
